Minelab's E-Trac and CTX 3030 are their flagship treasure detectors offering features and performance not found on any other detector  but unlocking all of what they are capable of can take time.  Well, that learning curve has just been eliminated!

We're excited to announce that Andy Sabisch, well-known treasure hunter and veteran Minelab user, is conducting a Bootcamp Training Course designed to allow you to understand all of the features on the both the E-Trac and CTX 3030 and maximize their performance under any condition and for any application you might come across.

The Bootcamp will cover everything listed below in a classroom setting followed by an infield session that will allow you to put what was covered into practice and see how slight adjustments can make a huge difference in performance.  Most importantly, you will understand WHY you made the change and HOW to determine what the optimal setting are for YOUR area and the type of targets YOU are searching for rather than relying on settings provided by someone 1,000 miles away where conditions are likely quite different.

  • Setup Tips - You would be surprised how many times this causes issues
  • What every function / feature does - a solid foundation makes all  the rest make perfect sense
  • When to make adjustments and how make them correctly . . . sequence is everything!
  • Creating and modifying Modes and Patterns
  • How to get maximum depth on a wide range of targets
  • Target Identification - audio & visual tips & tricks
  • How to hunt the trashy areas that still hold treasure
  • Optimal settings and search techniques for all forms of treasure hunting -coins, relics, jewelry and electronic prospecting
  • How to shallow water hunt with the CTX 3030
  • Pinpoint techniques to save recovery time
  • Accessories that can give you an additional edge
  • Ask your questions to eliminate any confusion
  • And more . . . . .

The Agenda is Flexible and Will Include What You Are Interested In!

A feature that has been added to the 2019 Bootcamps are videos showing what those marginal signals sound and look like to help you unlock the full potential of your detector.  We will have short clips embedded in the classroom portion that show how slight adjustments can make a huge difference in what you bring home at the end of the day.  They say a picture is worth 1,000 words and a video can be priceless once you see what the signals that 99.9% of other hunters pass over and leave behind.

We listened to feedback and made a change that will take the instruction to a whole new level in terms of what attendees will leave with at the end of the day!

The Bootcamp will show you how to get the most out of your FBS Detector!

The agenda has been designed to be both enjoyable and informative.  It is a day intended to get you comfortable with all aspects of the E-Trac and CTX 3030 and confident in their use.  During the in-field portion, there will be both planted targets in a test garden allowing you to see how slight adjustments can make a big difference in terms of what you bring home as well as natural targets that will test your skills as you seek them out.  We will have a wide assortment of targets available so that you can see how each responds and then use them to create custom patterns for the type of hunting you do.  Hands-on experience is priceless in putting what you've learned into practice.  When you get home, you will KNOW how to put your detector to use and most importantly, UNDERSTAND what it is telling you.

Some of the additional benefits received from attending

  • Bootcamp pricing on equipment
  • Direct access to the instructors when you have questions on your E-Trac or CTX 3030. . . call on your cell phone from the field and get real-time, technically accurate information

Bootcamps are typically held on a Sunday with the classroom portion kicking off bright and early but don't worry, there will be plenty of coffee and the content is sure to keep you energized until we hit the field after lunch.   Lunch will be provided before leaving the hotel area.  The in-field session will let you put what you learned into practice and with the instructors handy, you can have any questions answered on the spot.  There will be test areas setup where you can see how slight changes in settings can and will make a big difference in performance.  Once you've spent some time in the test area, see how you do on natural targets . . . . there will be real targets to seek out as well as prize tokens, old coins, Civil War relics and more to test your skill before you call it a day.

All of the locations have been selected to be "family friendly" so feel free to bring the family along and make it a mini vacation.  Once you have reserved your space in the session you want to attend, we will send you a package of activities that they might be interested in while you are at the Bootcamp.

But the Bootcamp does not end there . . . attendees receive a periodic newsletter that will pass along tips, techniques, information on new products and finds made by fellow attendees to keep you informed and motivated.  We also provide unlimited phone or E-mail support to answer any questions that might arise and have walked people through settings while they were in the field.  Think of the Bootcamp as being a continuous learning experience!
